About the trust

The KJ Trust is a charitable organisation named in memory of Katherine Mary Jacobs, who worked as a teacher in Leicestershire. Katherine died in 2005 of a rare infection after having surgery to treat cancer.

The trust has two main aims: to help promote educational excellence in and around the Leicestershire area, and to raise awareness of Necrotising fasciitis.
